Experience: 

Following 12 years of seismic data processing for the oil exploration industry, he was assigned to OGS in Trieste as part of a technical collaboration agreement. During this time, he was involved in developing many innovative processing techniques directed at specific research topics. Since 1994, he has been employed directly by OGS as Technical Manager, supervising the data processing activities. He has been responsible for the Seismic and Multibeam data processing group 'PROS' and also been involved in seismic acquisition, swath mapping, data management, and archiving and dissemination of seismic data. Recently he is working in a more technical role in the Data Processing, Integration and Management group as Senior Geophysicist.

- Author/co-author of 11 scientific papers, 79 congress presentations and more than 40 technical reports.
- Guest editor of Marine Geophysical Researches Special Issue on Subsurface imaging and sediment characterisation in shallow water environments (2005).
- Guest Editor of EAGE Near Surface Geophysics Special Issue on Applied Marine Geophysics (2012).
